~~~ April 10, 2012 2. Steve Carroll, 3112 River Edge Drive, wanted to know if the trucks from the Port Authority will be tolled. 3. Pat Simon, 801 Mimosa Road, voiced her concern with the continued increases in fees. 4. J. Brewer Moore, 308 Bobby Jones Drive, spoke on the Bicentennial Celebration of the National Anthem, Patriots Crossing and Cedar Grove Cemetery. 5. Mike Buxton, 317 Thelmar Lane, thanked City Council for their support in voicing opposition to the tolls on the Midtown and Downtown tunnels. 6. Debbie Childs, 317 Thelmar Lane, asked that there be an investigation of Skanska. 7. Delores Knight, 33 Kennedy Drive, asked that real estate taxed be lowered every year until it is $1.00. 8. Donna Sayegh, 3104 Garland Drive, voiced her concern with the proposed name change of a portion of Port Centre Parkway. 9. Terry Danaher, 413 Dinwiddie Street, voiced her opposition to the tolls on the Downtown and Midtown tunnels. 10. Kevin Kelly, 4404 Southampton Arch, voiced his opposition to budget cuts for law enforcement and emergency medical services. 11. Coleman Young, 602 North Street, suggested how the City could save $1.5 million on healthcare. 12. Ted Strauss, 220 Webster Avenue, voiced his opposition to the tolls on the Midtown and Downtown tunnels. 13. Glenna Cornett, 301 Thelmar Lane, voiced her opposition to building a new recreation center and to the tolls on the Midtown and Downtown tunnels. 14. Tony Goodwin, 38 Linden Avenue, asked for help in contacting VDOT to ask for increased lighting in the Park and Sail parking lot. 15. Charles Greenhood, 467 Court Street, thanked City Council for their support in voicing opposition to the tolls and asked for continued support from Council and citizens.
