(See letter under Item 87-305) On motion of Mr.~Simpson and seconded by Mr. Gray, the followii resolution was adopted, and by the following vote: 2ARESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO SIGN AN AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT WITH HAMPTON ROADS SANITATION DISTRICT FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING A TEMPORARY CON- STRUCTION STORAGE SITE AT THE PINNERS POINT SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT. WHEREAS, the City of Portsmouth and Hampton Roads Sanitation District have entered into an agreement dated March 26, 1986, as amended May 27, 1986, for sale of the Pinners Point Sewage Treat- ment Plant and inclusion of Portsmouth in the Hampton Roads Sanita~ tion District; and WHEREAS, Hampton Roads Sanitation District has requested the use of a portion of said proper~y for storage of materials and equipment in connection with construction of a sanitary sewage force main across the Elizabeth River as a part of the Virginia Initiative Plant-Elizabeth River Crossing-Project; and WHEREAS, said use of the property w~uld not interfere with the operation of the sewage treatment plant.
