<br /> Rev. Vernon A. Battle, Assistant Pastor of the Church of God
<br />and Christ, opened the meetmng with prayer, followed by the Pledge
<br />of Allegiance to the Flag.

<br /> Motion of Mr. Gray and seconded by Mr. Simpson, minutes of the
<br />special called meeting of July 28, 1987; minutes of the called
<br />meeting of July 28, 1987; minutes of the regular meeting of July 28~
<br />1987; and emergency called meeting of July 29, 1987, to be approved
<br />as received, and was adopted by unanimous vote.

<br />Mayor Holley welcomed all visitors in attendance.
