<br />At a regular meeting of the City Council held on Tuesday, Augu:

<br /> Rev. R. Timothy Ames, Pastor of Alexander Baptist Church,
<br /> ~ened the meeting with prayer, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance
<br />to the Flag.

<br /> Motion of Mr. Gray and seconded by Mr. Simpson, minutes of
<br />called meeting of August 11, 1987; and minutes of the regular
<br />meetmng of August 11, 1987, to be approved as received, and was
<br />adopted by unanimous vote.

<br /> Motion of Mr.~Gray and seconded by Mr. Barnes, to concur in
<br />the recommendation of the Planning Commission, UP 87-19 for a home
<br />for the care of children at 4211 County Street, was approved on
<br />first reading, and was adopted by unanimous vote.

<br />permit to operate a Montessor~ Pre-SchDoI at St. Andrew Lutheran
<br />Church, 4811 High Street West; and

<br /> WHEREAS, the applicant and the Planning Director have done all
<br />things required to be done mn connection with said application; and
