Hanbury, II, City Manager, Steven <br />Lieberman, City Attorney. <br /> <br />87-368 The fcllowing call for the meeting was read: <br /> <br /> 'Please attend a called meeting of the City Council to be held <br />in the Council Chamber, 6~h floor of City Hall, 801 Crawford Street <br />at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 25, 1987, for the purpose of a <br /> work session on the Sleepy Hole Golf Course. <br /> <br /> By order of the Mayor." <br /> <br />87-368(a] - The City Manager introduced Dr. Lydia~P~. Patton, <br />lirector of Parks and Recreation, and~Mr. Jim Armentrout, Golf Pro <br />of Sleepy Hole Golf_Course. <br /> <br /> Dr. Patton made a presentation of the rational of the policies <br />for Sleepy Hole Golf Course. <br /> <br /> Mr. Armentro~t~offered comments concerning the matter. <br /> <br />golf <br /> <br />The following citizens spoke in opposition of the mandatory <br />carts and dress code of Sleepy Hole Golf Course: <br /> <br />Peter P. Duda, Jr., President of SH~A, Director PSHA~ <br />Steve Bristow, NNSY Golf Association <br />Marvin Teachey, Naval Civilian Managers Association <br /> <br /> Margaret <br />of the operation of the <br /> <br />Richardson, representing Obici House, spoke in supporl <br /> Sleepy Hole Golf Course. <br /> <br /> 87-368(b) Motion <br />to go into an executive <br />of the Code of Virginia <br /> <br />of Mr. Barnes and seconded by Mrs. Lucas, <br />session in accordance with Sectio~ 2.1-344 <br />to discuss the following: <br /> <br /> 1. The condtion, acofqisition and use of real property for publ <br />.urpcses as permitted under subsection (a) (2); <br /> <br /> 2. Consultation with City Attorney and briefing by staff <br /> ~embers pertaining to actual or potential litigation or other legal <br /> ~ters within the jurisdiction of the City Council as permitted <br />under subsection (a) (6); <br /> <br /> 3. The disposmtxon of publicly held property as permitted und¢ <br />;ubsection (a) (2); <br /> <br /> 4.
