Hanbury, II, City Manager, <br /> Steven Lieberman, City Attorney <br /> <br /> 88-1 - ~ollowing call for the meeting was read: <br /> <br /> "Please attend~ a called meeting of the City Coun:cfl to be <br />held in the Council Conference Room, 6th floor of City Hall, 801 <br />Crawford Street, at 4:15 p.m., Tuesday, January 12, 19~8, for the <br />purpose of a public w6rk session for the Annual Report by Dr. <br />George Pass, President of Tidewater Community College. r~ <br /> <br /> In addition you may consider a motion to go into~an executive <br />session. <br /> <br /> By order of the Mayor." <br /> <br /> 88-2'~ Dr. ~George Pass, iPresident of Tidewater Community <br />C~l'leqe, presented the 1.987 Tidewater Community Coll~e Annuat~ <br />Report. ~ <br /> <br /> 88-3 - Motion of Mr. Gray and seconded by Mr. Barnes, to go <br />into an executive session in accordance with Section 2.1-344 of <br />the Code of Virginia to discuss thC following: <br /> <br /> 1. The condition~ acquisition and use of real property for <br />public ~urposes as ~ermitted under subsection (a) (2); <br /> <br /> 2. Consideration of a personnel matter as permitted under <br />subsection (a) (1); <br /> <br /> 3. Consultation with City Attorney <br />members pertaining to actual or potential <br />legal matters within the 3urisdiction of <br />permitted under subsection (a) (6): <br /> <br />and briefing by staff <br />litigation or other <br />the City Council as <br /> <br /> 4. The disposition of publicly held property as permitted <br />under subsection (a) (2); <br /> <br /> 5.
