Joe Wright, 1451 Welcome Road, thanked Council for restoring the Sheriff's budget. <br /> <br />2. Jennifer Lee, 34 Riverview Avenue, spoke on the City Council's Retreat, the <br />unfavorable media attention and the need for an audit of the City's finances. <br /> <br />3. Cathy Walker, 3114 Honeysuckle Lane, voiced her concerns with the Social <br />Services Foster Care Interstate Compact for the Placement of Children Department. <br /> <br />4. Robert Brown, 5105 Greenbrook Drive, asked that City Council not forget the <br />resolution that was adopted with regards to the Portsmouth Supplemental <br />Retirement System. <br /> <br />5. Glen Trematore, 708 S. Rosemont Road, Virginia Beach, wanted to clarify <br />statements that were made with regards to 715 Summers Place. <br /> <br />6. Delores Knight, 33 Kennedy Drive, voiced her concerns with using Unassigned <br />General Funds to fund the Sheriff's budget. <br /> <br />7. Nina Treiber, 3001 High Street, voiced her concern with cuts in the Sheriff's budget <br />coming from payroll. She also voiced her concern with the way finding signs. <br /> <br />8. J. Brewer Moore, 308 Bobby Jones Drive, asked that City Council support the <br />resolution passed by the History Commission to place the battle of Craney Island on <br />the Virginia and National Historic Registers. <br /> <br />9. Andrew Hodnett, 3604 Blaine Street, asked that City Council focus on the City's <br />infrastructure. <br /> <br />10. Tanya Hodnett, 3604 Blaine Street, voiced her support for an internal audit of the <br />City's finances. <br /> <br />11. Clifford Kalmbach, 3702 Magnolia Drive, voiced his concern with the mosquito <br />problem in his neighborhood. <br /> <br />12. Pat Simons, 801 Mimosa Road, voiced her support for an audit of the City's <br />finances. <br />
