March <br /> <br /> 88-106 Bill Watson, 200 Gee Street, representing the <br />Highland-Biltmore Civic League, spoke concerning the wetlands in <br />the City. <br /> <br /> On motion of Mr. Gray and seconded by Mrs. Lucas, that the <br />City Attorney draft an ordinance establishing a Wetlands Board fol <br />the City, and was adopted by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes: Corprew, Gray, Lucas, Simpson, Williams, Webb <br />Nays: None <br /> <br /> 88-107 - Harry L. Snead, 122 Linden Avenue, spoke concerning <br />his building permit for his home. <br /> <br /> Mr. Gray requested the City Manager look into the matter and <br />staff person meet with Mr. Snead. <br /> <br /> 88-108 - Arden Pfeiffer, 100 Culpepper Road, representing <br />Shea Terrace Civic League, requested that Shea Terrace be made <br />into a Conservation District. (See exhibit 88-108) <br /> <br /> Mr. Gray~ instructed the City Manager to look into the matter <br />and report his recommendations to Council. <br /> <br /> 88-109 - Minister Rafid Zaidi, 944-B Lincoln Street, spoke <br />concerning UF6 and it's transportation through the ports of <br />the City. (See exhibit 88-109) <br /> <br /> 88-110 - Gloria Hall, 4029 Timberland Drive, representing the <br />Portsmouth Council of PTA's, spoke concerning PTA Day and Alcohol <br />Awareness week. <br /> <br /> 88-111 - Mayor Webb commended Vice Mayor Gray for his lead <br />implementing the voting board for City Council, and expressed <br />appreciation for Council's progress with the use of it for the <br />first time. <br /> <br />in <br /> <br />On motion meeting adjourned <br />APPROVED - ~) <br /> <br /> Mayor <br /> <br />at 8:20 p.m. <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
