March 22, 1988 At a called meeting of the City Council held ~n Mar~h 22, 1988, there were present: Mayor Gloria O. Webb, J. Robert Gray, L. Louise Lucas, J. Herbert Simpson, George L.: Hanbury, II~ City Manager, Steven Lieberman, City Attorney ~ ~ held Crawford Street, at 4:30 purpose of considering a Absent: Jack P. Barnes, E. G. Corprew~ Jr., LaMar Williams* 88-114 - The following call for the meeting was read: "Please attend a called meeting of the City Council to be in the Council Con'f~en~e Room, 6th floo~ ofr£it~.-Hall, 801 p~m%~; T~esday, MarcA~2¥~988. for the mot. ion ~o go into ~n~'~x~c~t~e session. By order of the Mayor." Motion of Mr. Gray and seconded executive session in accordance with of Virginia to discuss the following: by Mrs. Lucas, to go into an Section 2.1-344 of the Code 1. The condition, acquisition and use of real property for public purposes as permitted under subsection (a) (2); 2. Consideration of a personnel matter as permitted under subsection (a) (1); 3. Consultation with City Attorney and briefing by staff members pertaining to actual or potential litigation or other legal matters within the 3urisdiction of the City Council as permitted under subsection (a) (6)~ 4. The disposition of ~ublicly held property as ~ermitted under subsection (a) (2); 5. Consideration of appointments by the City Council as permitted under subsection (a) (1).
