April 26, 1988 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the applicant and the Planning Director have done <br />all things required to be done ix co~hection with said <br />application; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has recommended the <br />granting of said use permit, with cOnditions. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City <br />of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That the use for which the use permit is sought: <br /> <br /> (a) Will not affect the health and .safety of persons <br />residing or working in the neighborhood of the proposed use; <br /> <br /> (b) Will not be detrimental to the public use or <br />injurious to the property and improvements in the neighborhood; <br />and <br /> <br /> (c) Will be in accord with the purposes of the Zoning <br />Chapter of the City Code. <br /> <br /> 2. Wilbur Turner is hereby granted a use permit pursuant <br />to ~40-71 (b) of the Code of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, <br />to operate an automobile storage yard at 3417 Deep Creek <br />Boulevard, such parcel being more particularly described as Tax <br />Map 473, Parcel 2 (UP-88-3). <br /> <br /> 3. This use permit is approved subject to the following <br />conditions: <br /> <br /> (a) The term "automobile storage yard", as provided <br />for herein is defined for purposes of this-~use permit as a <br />building or parcel of land used for short term storage of <br />automobiles, light trucks, small trailers, recreational <br />vehicles and small boats and light repair.
