<br />439 <br /> <br />February 22. 2011 <br /> <br />11 - 86 - Report on Pending Items <br /> <br />. Bernadette Hogge, Ombudsman, gave an update on items of concern presented by <br />citizens at the February 8, 2011 City Council Meeting. <br /> <br />- . Deputy City Manager Brannon Godfrey and Fire Chief Don Horton provided an <br />update on the fire at the Main Library, <br /> <br />11 - 87 - Non-Agenda Speakers <br /> <br />1. Linda Ridenour, 313 T arreyton Lane, informed City Council of the importance of <br />investing in schools. <br /> <br />2. Dorothy Hill, 475 Water Street, voiced her frustrations with the inability of the Friends <br />of the Portsmouth Public Library to access the basement area of the Main Library <br />since the fire in December. <br /> <br />3, Joan Branch, 4001 Timberland Drive, had questions with regards to the resolution <br />that was passed on May 25, 2010 concerning the Portsmouth Supplemental <br />Retirement System (PSRS). <br /> <br />4. Geraldine Jones-Granger, 1413 Horne Avenue, asked that City Council continue to <br />support an effort to eliminate the PSRS offset. <br /> <br />5. Mark Geduldig-Yatrofsky, 2713 Sterling Point Drive, voiced his concern with the lack <br />of documentation outlining the agreement between the City and employees who <br />enrolled in PSRS. <br /> <br />6. Susan Burton, 5209 Sweetbriar Circle, voiced her concern with the lack of access to <br />the local history room at the Main Library which has affected future planned events <br />and may result in a lose of volunteers, <br /> <br />7. Jeanne Larcombe, 410 Crawford Street, voiced her concern with the lack of funds <br />that would be generated by the inability of the Friends of the Portsmouth Public <br />Library to access the basement area of the Main Library to conduct book sales. <br /> <br />On motion, meeting adjourned at 7:58 p,m. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />WtvL~f2"fiwd . <br /> <br />Kenneth I.
