Shanks reappointed for a four year <br />term endin~ September 23, 1992. <br /> <br /> Motion of Mrs-Hawks and seconded by Mr. Simpson, to close <br />nominations, and there being no further nominations~ the above <br />memDers were stsc%ed to the designated Boards/Commissions, and <br />was adopted by unanimous vote. <br /> <br /> Mr, Corprew:stated the Partnership had elected him to <br />a liaison position with the Partnership. The Mayor stated <br />she had been con~oted by letter-to make-an appointment and <br />had complied by appointin~ Mr. Hawks. Mr. Corprew and the <br />Mayor directed the City Clerk to contact the Partnership for <br />all inform~tion~such as their letter to the Mayor~ and-to make <br />it available ~or~Cou~cil ~eview. <br /> <br /> 88-319 B - Sheila Pittman, City Cl~rk read a letter from <br />Richard Slepin as per his request in ~eference to the City Park <br />Golf Course. (See exhibit 88-319 B) <br /> <br /> Motion of Mr. Simpson and seconded by Mr. Corprew, to give <br />Mr. Hanbury a formal vote of confidences. <br /> <br /> Mayor Webb requested that the motion be amended to include <br />all four of the Council appointees, seconded by Mr. Corprew, <br />and was adopted by unanimous vote. <br /> <br /> Mr. Simpson announced that the Mayor's Drug Task Force <br />would submit their report by December 1st. <br /> <br /> <br />
