Manager,recommending adoption <br />of an ordinance to change Ordinance No. 1988-64; amended 1988-67 <br />as it relates to changing the Classification~and Pay Plan lan( <br />to eliminate K-9 special allowance, and provide pay for actuai <br />hours_:worked~ .... 'v_~ . ~,.:~:~. <br /> <br /> "In order to-comply with,the requirements of the Fair Labor <br />Standards Act, it is necessary to provide payment to Police <br />Officers assigned to the K-9 Unit for the daity~care.~t~eF, provide <br />to their assigned animals.
