(f) CA-89-1 Code CITY CODE AMENDMENT - A proposal to amend chapter 40 of the City Code pertaining to the Downtown D-1 district, the creation of a new Downtown D-2 district, establishing development standards for the D-2 district, and modifying parking requirements in the D-1 district. Motion of Mr. Hawks, to defer code amendment for 90 days, failed due to lack of a second. Motion of Mr. Barnes and seconded by Mr. Gray, to concur with the recommendation of the Planning Commission that CA-89-1 be approved on first reading, and was adopted by unanimous vote. . ~ (g) Z-88-16 DOWNTOWN NEIGHBORHOOD - Rezoning appliCation of the City Planning Co.mraission, by Planning Director Norman Whitaker,~ for property generally bounded by London Boulevard On the north, t~e Norfoik& Portsmouth Be~t'Line Railro~ad on the west, County Street On the s~uth~and~CheStnut Street on the east. (a) UP-88-17 Mr. A~oco, on use permit applications and an TRUXTUN NEIGHBORHOOD - Use permit application of TrUxtun Triangle AssociateS, bY Ronald Mickiewicz, agent for Amoco, for a gasoline service station and convenience store for property on the west side of Frederick Boulevard, between Deep Creek and Portsmouth Boulevards. Edward L. OaSt, Jr., 4512 Winston Road, spoke in support of the use permit. representing Motion of Mr. Simpson and seconded by Mr. Barnes, to concur witch the recommendation of the Planning Commission that UP-88-17 be approved on first reading by unanimous vote.
