Motion of Mr. Simpson and seconded by Mr. Barnes, to authorize the City Manager to enter into the specifled_ agreement with the P~rtsmo~th Jaycees for 'the operation of Smokey Pokey at City Park, and Was adopted on first and final reading, and by the ~ollowing vote: Ayes: Barnes, Corprew, Gray, Hawks', Lucas, Simpson, Webb Nays: None 89-65 Letter from the City Manager recommending adoption of a motion to accept for information, the City Manager's Quarterly Financial Report for the period ended December 31, 1988. "In accordance with Section 11-43 of the City Code, the Quarterly Financial Report for the period ended December 31, 1988, is herewith submitted. Actual revenues to date stand at 44 percent of the revenues estimated for the year, and 46 percent of the appropriations have been expended as of December 31, 1988. During the same quarter last year 41 percent of the estimated revenues had been re~ceived and expenditures were 46 percent of the budget appropriations. At this point, there does not appear to be any indication of substantial problems with respect to either the revenues or the expenditures, other than what I have previously communicated to you concerning the sales taxes."
