372 Februar~ 28~ 1989 89-85 Billy Ratcliff, j9 Windy Pines-Court, representing self, requested that the City Council look into a City ordinance banning obscene bumper Stickers in the city. M6tion Of~Mr. Barnes and,seconded by;Mr. SimpsOn to refer the item to the City Attorney's office for a report back to Council, and was adopted by unanimous vote~ i~ 89-86 Jane E. Jones; #5 Phelps, representing setf, advised the Council that the number of signatures on the petitions against the rezoning of the Churchland High .School site was over 5,500 and thanked~Mr~ Corp~ew, MrS. Lucas and Mr. Simpson for their support in this matter. 89~87 George representing self,'~Poke stating that ~e was waiting for answers to questions that he asked~:at the' last Council Meeting.. Mayor advised Mr. Rose that a letter had already been drafted and was in ~he mail tO hir~,~ 89-88 Mr. Barnes asked that~a rePort.on a sniOkin~ ordinance be presented to Council as soon as possible. 89-89 Mr. Corprew question Mr. Hanbury on a police matter and Mr, Hanbury responded and. advised Mr. Corprew that he would be happy to meet~with him if there was a particular incident involved. 89-90 MOtion of Mr. Hawks and seconded by Mr. Gray, to go into Executive Session in accordance With Section 2.1,344 of the Code of Virginia to discuss the' following: 1. ConsideratiOn of a personnel matter as permitted under subsection (a) (1); 2. Consultation with City Attorney and briefing by staff members pertaining to actual or potential litigation or other legal matters within the jurisdiction of the City Council as permitted under subsection (a) (6); On motion Was adopted by unanimous vote.
