Betty Burrell, Chief Financial Officer, explained where the monies from SPSA would <br />be transferred. <br /> <br />~ Mr. Moody expressed his appreciation for Mr. Smith's service as a member of City <br />Council and bid him farewell. <br /> <br />10 - 318 - Report on Pending Items <br /> <br />. Bernadette Hogge, Ombudsman, gave an update on items of concern presented by <br />citizens at the June 8, 2010 City Council Meeting. <br /> <br />10 - 319 - Non-Agenda Speakers <br /> <br />1. J. Brewer Moore, 308 Bobby Jones Drive, informed City Council of the History <br />Commissions efforts to include Virginia as part of the Star Spangled Bangle Banner <br />Trail. <br /> <br />2. Steve Whitehead, 4419 County Street, voiced his frustration with the banner poles <br />that have not been replaced or repaired in Midtown. <br /> <br />3. Coleman Young, 602 North Street, presented City Council with a plan that he <br />believes could save the City money from the health insurance for Medicare retirees. <br /> <br />4.
