4O5 ~ 10, 1989 At a called meeting of the City Council held on April 10, 1989 there were present: Mayor Gloria O. Webb, Jack P. Barnes, J. Robert Gray, James C. Hawks, L. Louise Lucas, J. Herbert Simpson, George L. Hanbury, II, City Manager, Steven Lieberman, City Attorney *Absent: E. G. Corprew, Jr. 89-132 - The following cail for the meeting was read: "Please attend a called meeting of the City Council to be held in the Council Conference Room, 6th floor of City Hall, 801 Crawford Street, at 5:00 p.m., Monday, April 10, 1989, for the purpose of a Public Work Session. In addition, you may consider a motion to go into an Executive Session. By order of the Mayor." 89-133 - The following was discussed in the Public Work Session: 1o Housing Presentation by PRHA 2. Civic Arts Program Briefing 89-134 Motion of Mrs. Lucas and seconded by Mr. Simpson, go into ExecUtive Session in accordance with Section 2.1-344 of the Code of Virginia to discuss the following: to 1. Condition, acquisition and use of real property for public purposes as permitted under subsection (a) (2); 2. Consideration of a personnel matter as permitted under subsection (a) (1). 3. Consultation with City Attorney and briefing by staff members pertaining to actual or potential litigation or other legal'matters within the jurisdiction of the City Council as ~ permitted.under sUbsection (a) (6); 4. The disposition of publicly held property as permitted under sub~ectiOn (a) (2); 5. Consideration of appointments by the City Council as permitted under subsection (a) (1).
