Parker Center, <br />and was adopted on first and final reading, and by unanimous <br />vote. <br /> <br />89-270 Robert Jones, 3925 Two Oaks Road, representing self, <br />requested that Council look into his retirement from the Police <br />Department and brought a copy of a news broadcast from 1986 for <br />Council to view. <br /> <br />89-271 Joseph E. Knight, 4820 Portsmouth Boulevard, <br />representing self, commended the city on several projects done <br />in city and requested that several trees in his block of <br />Portsmouth Boulevard be examined and possibly removed before <br />they fall on private property. <br /> <br />89-272 Mr. John L. Forgette, 2168 Campostella Road, <br />Chesapeake, representing Paradise City, spoke in favor of <br />establishment operating on West Norfolk Road. <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />89-273 The following citizens spoke in opposition to the <br />opening of Paradise City on West Norfolk Road: <br /> <br /> Mary Denaro, ~724 Shoreline Drive, representing Churchland <br />Association-Hatton Point civic League. <br /> <br /> John F.
