Januarv 12. 2010 Motion by Ms. Psi mas, and seconded by Mr. Moody, to concur with the recommendation of the Planning Commission that UP-09-16 be approved on first reading, and was adopted by the following vote: Ayes: Heretick, Moody, Psi mas, Randall, Smith, Whitehurst, Holley Nays: None (b) UP-09-17 TRUXTUN - George Manning requests a use permit for a duplex at 32 Noble Street. The Comprehensive Plan Future Land Use Map recommends multi-family residential development. Vision Principle: Thriving Neighborhoods and a Sense of Community. There were no speakers. Motion by Ms. Randall, and seconded by Mr. Whitehurst, to concur with the recommendation of the Planning Commission that UP-09-17 be approved on first reading, and was adopted by the following vote: Ayes: Heretick, Moody, Psi mas, Randall, Smith, Whitehurst, Holley Nays: None (c) CP-09-02 CITYWIDE - The City of Portsmouth seeks approval of a Master Transportation Plan that identifies transportations issues and makes recommendations that will ensure the transportation system supports local and regional transportation needs. The Comprehensive Plan recommends that the City adequately maintain infrastructure and develop action strategies that address the needs of the City. Vision Principle: Bold New Directions. 1. Motion by Mr. Whitehurst, and seconded by Mr. Smith, to concur with the recommendation of the Planning Commission that CA-09-08 be approved on first reading, and was adopted by the following vote: Ayes: Heretick, Moody, Psi mas, Randall, Smith, Whitehurst, Holley Nays: None - City Manager's Report - 10 - 16 - Adoption of an ordinance to accept a grant in the amount of $5,000 from the Virginia Commission for the Arts and appropriating said sum in the FY 2009-2010 Grants Fund for awards for the Seawall Art Show.
