<br />1. Mark Geduldig-Yatrofsky, 2713 Sterling Point Drive, voiced his opposition to items
<br />being placed on the agenda during the City Council meeting.

<br />Motion by Mr. Moody, and seconded by Ms. Psi mas, to defer consideration of an
<br />ordinance to enact a new Section of the Code of the City of Portsmouth (2006),
<br />Numbered 22-702.1, pertaining to pedestrians in certain streets to the November 10,
<br />2009 City Council Meeting, and was adopted by the following vote:

<br />09 - 521 - Report on Pending Items
<br />
<br />. Bernadette Hogge, Ombudsman, gave an update on items of concern presented by
<br />citizens at the September 22,2009 City Council Meeting.
<br />
<br />. Police Chief Hargis gave an update on the noise levels from Towne Point Park in
<br />Norfolk.
<br />
<br />. Richard Hartman provided an update on a ditch located at Cypress Road, and on
<br />the sound wall on 1-164.

<br />09 - 522 - Non-Agenda Speakers
<br />
<br />1. Beverly Gaddis, 2416 Lakewood Lane, asked that City Council give equal
<br />consideration to both retirement systems.
<br />
<br />2. Robert Turner, 4313 Templar Drive, asked that City Council support retirees by
<br />giving them a cost of living adjustment.
<br />
<br />3. Jack Lilly, 4140 Quince Road, voiced his concern with what he believes is a lack of
<br />experience in the Inspections Department.
<br />
<br />4. Ronald Reed, 5911 Bertrand Street, voiced his concern with various issues within
<br />the City.
<br />
<br />5. Clyde Toler, 1029 Blair Street, voiced his concern with various issues within the City.
<br />
<br />6. Fred Sanborn, 220 North Street, voiced his concern with the noise levels at Towne
<br />Point Park in Norfolk.
