434 <br /> <br />NOvember~ 27,~ 1990 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the applicant and the Planning Director have done <br />all things required te be done in connection~with said <br />application; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has recommended the <br />granting of said use permit with conditions. <br /> <br />of <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED~by the Council of the City <br />Portsmouth, Virginia: ~ <br /> <br /> 1. That~tlhe use for which ~the. use permit hereinafter <br /> described is sought: <br /> <br /> (a) Will not adv~S~'~ affect the health and safety <br /> of persons residing and working in the <br /> neighborhood of the proposed use; <br /> <br /> (b) will not be detrimental to the public use or <br /> injurious to the property and improvements in <br /> the neighborhood;, and~ <br /> <br /> (c) Will be in accordance with the purposes of the <br /> Zoning Chapter of the City Code. <br /> <br /> 2. That Interstate Brands Corporation, trading as Dolly <br /> Madison Bakery, is hereby granted a use permit <br /> pursuant to Section 40-71(b) of the Code of the City <br /> of Portsmouth, Virginia, to operate a wholesale <br /> distribution center at 3545 Victory Boulevard, such <br /> Site being more Particularly described as follows: <br /> <br />UP-90-15 <br /> <br />Beginning on the west right-of-way line of Victory <br />Boulevard 588.~0' north from its intersection with the <br />north right-of-way line of Greenwood Drive; thence west <br />150'; thence north 99~37'; thence east 150' to the west <br />right-of-way line of Victory Boulevard; thence south along <br />said right-of-way line 100' to the point of beginning. <br /> <br />That this use permit <br />following conditions: <br /> <br />(a) <br /> <br />is approved subject to the <br /> <br />The applicant shall install parking and <br />landscaping in accordance with Exhibit 1, <br />attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br />Additional parking and landscaping may be <br />installed after approval of its location by the <br />Planning Director. <br /> <br />(b) <br /> <br />The applicant shall comply with all applicable <br />codes, ordinances, policies, and regulations of <br />federal, state and local governments and shall <br />obtain all necessary licenses and permits." <br /> <br /> 90-450 (f) <br /> <br /> "A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND ADOPTING AN AMENDMENT TO THE <br />COMPREHENSIVE PLAN FOR THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, <br />on July 11, 1989 adopted a Comprehensive Plan, (CP-89-1), for <br />the physical deVelopment of the territory within the City; and <br /> <br /> <br />
