Vision Principle: Bold New Directions. <br /> <br />Motion by Mr. Moody, and seconded by Ms. Psi mas, to defer consideration of <br />Item 09-91 to the February 24, 2009 City Council Meeting, and was adopted by the <br />following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes: Heretick, Moody, Psi mas, Randall, Smith, Whitehurst <br />Nays: Holley <br /> <br />09 - 92 - Adoption of a resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute a deed of <br />easement to Columbia Gas for a gas line to serve the YMCA across property of the <br />City being developed for the Churchland Branch Library. Vision Principle: Thriving <br />Neighborhoods and a Sense of Community. <br /> <br />Background: <br />. Columbia Gas of Virginia, Inc. has requested an easement for placement of a <br />gas pipeline to be located across property owned by the City at the new Church land <br />Library site to the adjacent property owned by the Young Men's Christian Association. <br />. Upon review by the Engineering Department it has been determined that most of <br />the easement runs over pavement for the access driveway to the YMCA. The edge of <br />the easement itself comes no closer than about 60 feet to the library building. <br /> <br />Financial Impact: None <br /> <br />Staff Recommends: <br />. Adoption of a resolution approving the placement of the above easement by <br />Columbia Gas of Virginia, Inc. Upon adoption the resolution the City Manager is authorized to execute the Deed <br />of Easement allowing Columbia Gas of Virginia, Inc. to place the gas pipeline as <br />requested. <br /> <br />Motion by Mr. Whitehurst, and seconded by Mr. Smith, to adopt the following <br />resolution, and was adopted by the following vote: <br />
