This ordinance
reflects the budget as I have recommended to the
City Council and which has been previously
presented and submitted for your review.

(b) An ordinance re-enacting the current tax rates on
real estate, tangible personal property, privately
owned pleasure boats and machinery and tools.

(c) An ordinance amending certain business license tax
rates as well as establishing a lower minimum tax,
bringing the City into full compliance with the
rollback as required by the State.

In addition to the above ordinances, which require two
readings, I am submitting several budgetary companion
ordinances that will modify fees and charges for services, and
effect other changes related to the recommended budget. These
additional ordinances require only one reading, and I recommend
that they be adopted by the City Council concurrently with the
final approval of the above ordinances. These have been~
highlighted in my budget message and included in my oral
presentation of the proposed budget. These budgetary companion
ordinances consist of the following:

(d) Residential collection and disposal of trash is
being recommended to be increased from the current
$8.00 per month to $9.00 per month, with
corresponding increases in the collection and
disposal rates for non-residential refuse.
