<br />246 <br /> <br />July 29.2008 <br /> <br />The purpose of the meeting is to allow confidential discussion of appointments <br />and legal strategy. <br /> <br />The motion was adopted by unanimous vote. <br /> <br />Motion by Mr. Moody, and seconded by Ms. Psimas, pursuant to Section 2.2- <br />3712(D) of the Code of Virginia, certifying that to the best of the Council Members' <br />knowledge during the immediately preceding Closed Meeting of the City Council: <br /> <br />1. Only public business matters lawfully exempted from open meeting <br />requirements by the Virginia Freedom of Information Act, and <br /> <br />2. Only such public business matters as were identified in the motion, by which <br />the Closed Meeting was convened, were heard, discussed or considered in <br />the meeting by the City Council. <br /> <br />The motion was adopted by unanimous vote. <br /> <br />On motion, meeting adjourned at 5:10 p.m. <br /> <br />Minutes prepared by: <br /> <br /> <br />.
