January 13, 1992 At the regular meeting of the City Council held on Monday, ~3!~, 199~, there were present: Mayor Gloria O. Webb, Vice Mayor E. G. Corprew, Jr., Johnny M. Clemons, John H~ Epperson, Lee EJ King, James C. Hawks, Junius H. Williams, V. Wayne O~ton~i~ity Manager, Stuart E. Katz, City Attorney Vice Mayor Corprew opened the meeting with prayer, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. Mayor welcomed all visitors in attendance. 91-418 - Non Agenda Speak.ers] . ~ , ~ There were no non-agenda speakers. 91-419 - Public Hearing on rezoning applications: and use permit (A) UP-91-23 OLDE TOWNE NEIGHBORHOOD - Use permit application of Michele L. Bordelon & J. Michael Keating for a bed and breakfast inn at 415 North Street and further described as Tax Map 8, Parcel 18. J. Michael K~ating, 415 NOrth Street, representing himself spoke on the bed and breakfast and the advantages of adding another room. Motion of Mr. King and seconded by Mr. Epperson, to concur with the recommendation of the Planning Commission that UP-91-23 be approved on first reading and was approved by a 7-0 vote. ~:'~ ~ (B) Z-92-2 WEST NORFOLK NEIGHBORHOOD - Rezoning application of the Portsmouth Port and Industrial Commission, by Matthew James, Director of Economic Development, for the City of Portsmouth, for property at 3501 Lombardy Avenue and further described as Tax Map 706, Parcel 1; fro~ Planned Of~fice Park POP, to Industrial M-1-K Conditional. The property is designated for Industrial use in the City's Comprehensive Plan. On motion of Mr. Clemons and seconded bY Mr. Epperson, the application was deferred to the meeting of February 10, 1992 and by an unanimous vote of 7-0. On motion meeting adjourned at 7:15 p.m. APPROVED
