205 January 14, 1992 At a called meeting of the City Council held on Tuesday, January 14, 1992: ~ Mayor Gloria O. Webb, *Vice Mayor E. G. Corprew, Jr., Johnny M. Clemons, John H. Epperson, James C. ~Hawks, Lee E. King, Juniu~'H. Williams, Jr., V. Wayne Orton, City Manager, Stuart E. Katz, City Attorney. 92-06 - The following call for the meeting was read: "Please attend a called meeting of the City Council to be held in the City Council Chamber, 6th floor of City Hall, 801 Crawford Street, at 4:45 p.m., Tuesday, January 14, 1992, for the purpose of a Public Work Session; In addition you may consider~ a motion to go into an Executive Session. By order of the Mayor." 92-07 - The following items were discussed in the Public Session: 1. Report on City Real Estate 2. Quality Neighborhoods for the Future 3. Appropriations Ordinance policy Motion of Mr. King and .seconded by Mr. Clemons go into an Executive Session pursuant~to provisions of 2.1-344 of the Code of Virginia for the following: Section to (1) Consideration of appointments to Boards and Commissions by City Council as permitted under Subsection (A) (1). Motion adopted by unanimous vote° Motion of Mr. Epperson and seconded by Mr. King, pursuant to Section 2.1-344.1 of the Code of Virginia certifying that to the best of the Council Member's knowledge during the immediately preceding Executive Session of'~the City Council: Only public business matters lawfully exempted from open meeting requirements by the Virginia Freedom of Information Act, and e Only such public business matters as were identified in the motion by which the Executive Session was convened, were heard, discussed or considered in the meeting by the City Council.
