Charles Whitehurst, 342 Worthington Square, presented Fire Chief Newell <br />Whitehead with an award for implementing a plan into the City's Disaster Plan that <br />would ensure that mothers and babies are accounted for in the event of a disaster. <br /> <br />2. John Johnson, 3901 Mariner Drive, Chesapeake, thanked Council for receiving his <br />letter and emphasized the willingness to do whatever it takes to keep the Crab <br />Shack. <br /> <br />3. Shaun Squyres, 622 Glasgow Street, outlined his concerns with having sheriff's <br />deputies conducting police functions. <br /> <br />4. Kathleen Carlson, 116 Chowan Drive, voiced her concerns with the code <br />enforcement with regards to the displaying of signs and banners throughout the City. <br /> <br />5. Patricia Edgerton, 4504 West Norfolk Road, had several questions regarding funding <br />of the sound wall at 1-164. <br /> <br />6. Clarence Mason, 940 Jefferson Street, voiced his concern with the decline in the <br />quality of life in his neighborhood. <br /> <br />7. Lee Cherry, 1108 McLuin Drive, outlined the benefits of implementing the <br />Community Enforcement Unit. <br /> <br />8.
