<br />January 23. 2007 <br /> <br />(c) GHP-06-16 <br /> <br />PARKVIEW NEIGHBORHOOD - Joseph Shawn Foreman requests <br />a group housing permit to construct a condominium triplex unit at <br />304 Hatton Street. Vision Principle: A Robust and Prospering <br />Economy. <br /> <br />Motion by Mr. Moody, and seconded by Ms. Randall, to concur with the <br />recommendation of the Planning Commission that GHP-06-16 be approved on first <br />reading, and was adopted by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes: Moody, Randall, D. Smith, R. Smith, Holley <br />Nays: None <br /> <br />(d) UP-06-17 <br /> <br />DOWNTOWN - William T. Roach requests a use permit to operate <br />a restaurant at 725 High Street. Vision Principle: A Robust and <br />Prospering Economy. <br /> <br />1. Mark Geduldig-Yatrofsky, 363 Middle Street, voiced his concern with the already <br />existing parking problems in the downtown area. <br /> <br />Motion by Mr. Moody, and seconded by Ms. Randall, to concur with the <br />recommendation of the Planning Commission that UP-06-17 be approved on first <br />reading, and was adopted by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes: Moody, Randall, D. Smith, R. Smith, Holley <br />Nays: None <br /> <br />(e) SNC-06-01 <br /> <br />CHURCHLAND NEIGHBORHOOD - Ordinance granting the <br />request of the City of Portsmouth changing the name of the <br />disconnected portion of Coast Guard Blvd. to Old Coast Guard <br />Blvd. The affected section extends from West Norfolk Road <br />Northward to the South Right of Way line of the Western Freeway. <br />Vision Principle: A Robust and Prospering Economy. <br /> <br />Motion by Mr. Moody, and seconded by Mr. D. Smith, to adopt the following <br />ordinance, and was adopted by the following vote: <br /> <br />"ORDINANCE TO CHANGE THE NAME OF THE DISCONNECTED PORTION OF <br />COAST GUARD BOULEVARD TO OLD COAST GUARD BOULEVARD." <br /> <br />Ayes: Moody, Randall, D. Smith, R. Smith, Holley <br />Nays: None <br /> <br />- Unfinished Business - <br /> <br />Consent Aqenda: <br /> <br />07 - 15 - Rezoning, use permit, and code amendment: <br /> <br />Motion by Mr. R. Smith, and seconded by Mr. Moody, to adopt the following <br />ordinances and resolution approved on first reading at the January 9, 2007 meeting, <br />and was adopted by the following vote: <br /> <br />07-15 (a): <br />"ZONING AMENDMENT ORDINANCE Z-06-06." <br />
