Pending approval, the Director of BHS will ensure the funds are budgeted and <br />utilized in FY07 and FY08 to provide Crisis Stabilization services for persons in need. <br /> <br />Motion by Mr. D. Smith, and seconded by Mr. R. Smith, to adopt the following <br />ordinance, and was adopted by the following vote: <br /> <br />"ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE $346,682 IN THE FY 2006-2007 BEHAVIORAL <br />HEAL THCARE SERVICES FUND OPERATING BUDGET FOR CRISIS <br />STABILIZATION SERVICES." <br /> <br />Ayes: Heretick, Moody, Psi mas, Randall, D. Smith, R. Smith, Holley <br />Nays: None <br /> <br />07 - 18 - Adoption of an ordinance to appropriate an additional $100,751 in the FY <br />2006-2007 Behavioral Healthcare Services Fund Operating Budget to purchase needed <br />services and equipment for Mental Health and Mental Retardation Services consumers. <br />Vision Principle: Thriving Neighborhoods and a Sense of Community. <br /> <br />Background: <br />. Discharge Assistance Project (DAP) funds are utilized to purchase services and <br />equipment to enable disabled consumers who require such services in order to be <br />discharged to the community. <br />. Community Services Board (CSB) Case Managers submit DAP plans on <br />specified consumers hospitalized at ESH to the Regional Discharge Assistance <br />Committee (REDAC) for review and approval of funds for services requested. <br /> <br />Discussion: <br />. One Mental Retardation Services consumers have been approved by REDAC for <br />$22,000 to purchase needed services to discharge them to the community from ESH. <br />. Six Mental Health Services consumer has been approved by REDAC for <br />$78,751.00 to purchase needed services to discharge them into the community from <br />ESH. <br /> <br />Financial Impact: <br />.
