Mathews <br />requests a use permit to provide paid entertainment in an existing <br />restaurant at 3010 High Street. Smith, Holley <br />Nays: None <br /> <br />(c) CA-06-02 <br /> <br />CITY WIDE - The City of Portsmouth seeks to amend Chapter 40 <br />(Zoning Ordinance) of the City Code to create a mixed use zoning <br />district that allows residential, retail and office development in the <br />same district and provide the regulations necessary in this new <br />district. Vision Principle: Thriving Neighborhoods and a Sense of <br />Community and a Robust and Prospering Economy. <br /> <br />Motion by Mr. Heretick, and seconded by Ms. Randall, to concur with the <br />recommendation of the Planning Commission that CA-06-02 be approved on first <br />reading, and was adopted by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes: Heretick, Moody, Psi mas, Randall, D. Smith, Holley <br />Nays: None <br /> <br />CRADOCK NEIGHBORHOOD - The City of Portsmouth, Virginia <br />on a request by the Planning Commission to modify Chapter 40 of <br />the Code of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, the Zoning <br />Ordinance, to reduce the minimum lot area in the Cradock <br />Historic District for single-family development from 7,500 square <br />feet to 4,500 square feet.
