Motion by Mr. Hawks, and seconded by Mr.-EpPe~0n~to3go into Executive Session pursuant to provisions of Section 2.1-344 of the Code of.Virginia'fo~'~helfoliowi~ng (1)~ DiscUssion or consideration Of appointments to~Boards and Commissions by City C6uncit as permitted unde~ Subsection: (A) (I');. ~ ~! ~ '~ ~! ~ (2) Discussion and consideration of the use or condition of PublielY held re~l~p~rtY in ~he ChurchIa~d por~ion of the City, :~as:permi~ted'~de~ SubseCtion (A) (3~;- (3) Consultation with the City Attorney and briefing by staff!pertaining to a mat~er of probable:litigation involving the SuPerfund site and ~titigation involving the Classification and Pay Plan as permitted under~SubSecti°~~(A) (7); (4) Discussion or consideration of the salaries of City Council appointees as permit%ed unde~ Subsection (A) (1)~ The motion was adop~e~bY uhahimoUs::vOte~ Motion of Mr. Clemens, and seconded by Mr. Eppers~h: pursuant to Section 2.1-344.1 of the Code of Virginia certifying that to the best of the Council Member's knowledge during the i~mediate!v preceding Executive Session of the City Council: ' (1) Only public business matters lawfully exempted from open meeting requirements by the Virginia Freedom of Information Act, and (2) Only such public business matters as were identified in the motion by which the Executive Session was convened, were heard, discussed or considered in the meeting by the City Council.
