May 11, 1993 <br /> <br /> Motion of Mr. Epperson, and seconded by Mr. King, to transfer <br />$100,U00 for the cost of inmate meals was adopted and by the <br />following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes: Ctemons, Epperson, Griffin, Hawks, King, Pitts, Webb <br />Nays: None <br /> <br /> 93-195 Letter from the City Manager recommending adoption <br />of a motion to transfer $18,626 from the Grants Contingency Fund <br />for FY 1993/94 Tuberculosis ©utreach Worker Program. <br /> <br /> "The Portsmouth Health Department has been awarded funds to <br />provide an OutreaCh Worker to follow up on tuberculosis patients. <br />These duties ~re Low being performed by a part-time position. It <br />is desired to convert this to a full-time position. The <br />additional hours ~ill enable the position to have more impact on <br />controlling the tpbercutosis spread and ensure compliance of those <br />patients on medication. <br /> <br /> The City would be reimbursed through the Grants Funds. There <br />are no City matching funds required. I, therefore, recommend your <br />approval of a moti~n to transfer $18,626 from the Grant's <br />Contingency Account." <br /> MOtion of Hr.
