210 September 12. 2006 06 - 425 - Non-Agenda Speakers 1. Lynn Breckenridge, 448 Green Street, informed Council that the general directional sign for High Street had been placed, in error, on London Boulevard and asked if this sign could be moved to the correct site, on High Street. Motion by Mr. R. Smith, and seconded by Mr. Moody, to have the general directional sign removed from London Boulevard and placed on the median at High Street, and was adopted by the following vote: Ayes: Heretick, Moody, Randall, D. Smith, R. Smith, Holley Nays: None Mayor Holley named Councilman R. Smith liaison to the signage issue. 2. Sara Steele, 308 Court Street, voiced her concerns with regards to new homes being placed in a higher class for assessment although surrounding property maybe in a lower class. 3. Joanna Hall, 92 Nickelson Street, voiced her opposition to the proposed SPSA I Covanta Trashport Project. 4. Mark Geduldig-Yatrofsky, 363 Middle Street, voiced his objections to a decision made by Council at a previous meeting pertaining to the placement of a business sign. 5. Kathleen Carlson, 100 Snead Fairway, encouraged citizens to take advantage of the opportunities to get involved and learn more about things that are taking place in the city. City Manager Oliver informed citizens that a copy of the Homeless Study could be picked up in the City Manager's Office.
