<br /> At a Regular ~eeting 0f~'e' City Council held on Tuesday,
<br />August 24, 1993, there were present:
<br />
<br /> Mayor Gloria O. Webb,
<br />Clemons, John H. Epperson,
<br />Hawks, Cameron C. Pitts, V.
<br />Katz, City Attorney.
<br />
<br />Vice Mayor Lee E. King, Johnny M.
<br />Bernard D. Griffin, Sr., James C.
<br /> Wayne Orton, City Manager, Stuart E.
<br />
<br /> Reverend Nelson F. Fields, First Pentecostal Holiness
<br />Church, opened the meeting with prayer which was followed by the
<br />Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.
<br />
<br /> Mayor Webb called the meeting to order and welcomed all in
<br />attendance.
<br />
<br /> Motion by Mr. Epperson, and seconded by Mr. King, the
<br />minutes of a called meeting on August 10, 1993; the minutes of a
<br />Regular Meeting on August 10, 1993, were approved, and were
<br />adopted and by unanimous vote.
<br />
<br />93-321 - Proclamation presented to Mr. Lonnie Sloan, Potentate,
<br />and Noble Esker Peacock, Chairman, Turkey Bowl Classic for
<br />"Turkey Bowl Day".
<br />
<br />Motion of Mr. Epperson, and seconded by Mr. Hawks to amend the
<br />order of business to discuss and consider items 93-309 (a)
<br />through (e) at this point in the meeting and was adopted by
<br />unanimous vote.

<br />UNFINISHED BUSINESS -
<br />
<br />93-309 Rezoning and Group Housing Projects applications
<br />
<br />(a) Motion by Mr. Epperson, and seconded by Mr. Clemons, to
<br />adopt the following ordinance, approved on first reading at the
<br />meeting of August 10, 1993, was adopted and by the following
<br />vote:
<br />
<br />"ZONING AMENDMENT ORDINANCE Z-93-9".

<br />Ayes: Clemons, Epperson, Griffin, Hawks, King, Pitts, Webb
<br />Nays: None
<br />
<br />(b) Motion by Mr. King, and seconded by Mr. Clemons, to adopt
<br />the following ordinance, approved on first reading at the
<br />meeting of August 10, 1993, was adopted and by the following
<br />vote:
<br />
<br />"ZONING AMENDMENT ORDINANCE Z-93-10".

<br />Ayes: Clemons, Epperson, Griffin, Hawks, King, Pitts, Webb
<br />Nays: None

<br />(c) Motion by Mr. Pitts, and seconded by Mr. Griffin, to adopt
<br />the following ordinance, approved on first reading at the
<br />meeting of August 10, 1993, was adopted and by the following
<br />vote:
