185 September 14, 1993 Motion by Mr~ King, and!seconded by Mr. Clemons, the following ordinance waSladoptedand bythe following vote= "AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 22 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF.PORTSMOUTH, VIRGINIA, 1988, BY ADDING SECTION 22-499.1 THERETO, PERTAINING TO MAKING PORTIONS OF NORTH STREET ONE-WAY. Ayes= Clemons, Epperson, Griffin, Hawks, King, Pitts, Webb Nays: None 93,361 - Mr. ~wks offered the following nominations for appointments to the following Boards and Cox~=L~issions~ Portsmouth Redevelopment & Housing Authority Motion by Mr. Hawks, to nominate Ernest F. Hardee for reappointment and to nominate Junius Williams, to a four year term ending September 1, 1997, to replace Lillian D. Cooper. Motion by Mr. Clemons, to nominate.~ Gloria Fintch to a four year term ending September 1, 1997, replacing Lillian D. Cooper. The nominations were closed, and the nomination of Ms. Fintch was defeated by the following vote: Ayes: Clemons, Griffin Nays: Epperson, Hawks, King, Pitts, Webb The reappointment of Mr. Hardee was approved by the following vote: Ayes: Clemons, Epperson, Griffin, Hawks, King, Pitts, Webb Nays: None The appointment of Junius Williams was approved by the following vote: Ayes: Clemons, Epperson, Griffin, Hawks, King, Pitts, Webb Nays: None Commission of Architectural Review for Cradock/Oldm Towne/Truxtun Motion by Mr. Hawks that Les French to be appointed to fill an unexpired term ending May 1, 1994, replacing Willi~un A.
