February 28. 2006 At a Called Meeting of the City Council on Tuesday, February 28, 2006, there were present: Vice Mayor William E. Moody, Jr., Charles B. Whitehurst, Sr., Marlene W. Randall, Stephen E. Heretick, Elizabeth M. Psi mas, Ray A. Smith, Sr., City Manager James B. Oliver, Jr., City Attorney G. Timothy Oksman. 06 - 100 - The following call for the meeting was read: "Please attend a Called Meeting of the City Council to be held in the 6th Floor Conference Room, 801 Crawford Street, 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 28, 2006 for the purpose of a Public Work Session. In addition, you may consider a motion to go into a Closed Meeting. By order of the Mayor." 06 - 1 01 - The following items were discussed in Public Work Session: 1. CAR Appeal (6:00 p.m. in City Council Chamber) Motion by Mr. Whitehurst, and seconded by Ms. Randall, to postpone consideration of the Commission of Architectural Review Appeal to replace deteriorated doors at 231 Hatton Street in the Port Norfolk/Park View Historic District to the meeting of May 9,2006, and was adopted by a vote of 6-0. 2. Review of City Manager's Report Items 06 - 102 - Motion by Ms. Randall, and seconded by Mr. Smith, to go into Closed Meeting pursuant to provisions of Section 2.2-3711 (A) of the Code of Virginia, to discuss: the appointment of members of boards and commiSSions, as per subsection 1; and pending litigation, as per subsection 7.
