February 8, 1994 Actual revenueSitodate stand at 38 percent of the revenues estimated for theyear, and 39 percent of the appropriations have been expended as of December 31, 1993. During the same quarter last year 40 percent of the estimated revenue had been received and expenditures were 42~percent of the budget appropriations. Therefore, at this point in time, revenues are lower than last year's and expenditures are lower than last year's. Similar activity should be expected for the remainder of this fiscal year, taking into account that fourth quarter revenues are disproportionately large and variable." Motion by Mr. Epperson, and seconded by Mr. King, to accept the Quarterly Financial Report for the period ended December 30, 1993, and was adopted by the following vote: Ayes: Clemons, Epperson, Griffin, Hawks, King, Pitts, Webb Nays: None - NEW BUSINESS - 94-53 Mr. Pitts offered the following nominations for appointments to the following Boards and Commissions: Museum and Fine Arts Commission Herman Bates to be appointed for an unexpired term ending November 1, 1994, replacing William Stobo. Youth AdvisoryCommission Shivawn Moore to be appointed for a term ending June 14, 1994. Downtown Desiqn Commission Spencer L.
