Brewer Moore, 308 Bobby Jones Drive, thanked the City Manager and Council <br />members for the contact made with residents about the ditch behind Hodges Manor <br />Elementary School and commented on suggestion to change Greenwood Drive to <br />Hodges Ferry Road not embraced by the Planning Commission. Also, he spoke on <br />the War of 1812 and the Battle at Craney Island, up the coast to D.C. and the flag <br />that flew over Portsmouth with fifteen stripes. <br /> <br />3. Joseph C. Woodell, 2742 Barclay Avenue, spoke on been denied equal rights for 35 <br /> years based on tattooing ordinance and asked for the ordinance to be revoked. <br /> <br />Anne Bremer, 256 Constitution Avenue, spoke in support of the Police Program, <br />Neighborhood Enhancement Action Team (NEAT) and the outstanding job by Officer <br />Jason Nowrowsky. <br /> <br />Mark Geduldig-Yatrofsky, 363 Middle Street, spoke on the decision made by the <br />previous City Council to appoint a City Manager, the manner in which the decision <br />was made and how the communication by management has been in writing and <br />timely. <br /> <br />Sheri Baily, 917 Mount Vernon Avenue, spoke in the support of the Juneteenth <br />Festival, celebrating freedom and program partnership with Tidewater Community <br />College. <br /> <br /> On motion, meeting adjourned at 8:40 p.m. <br /> <br /> ~" ~"~~en nington, CM C D/ ' <br />Senior Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />APPROVED - <br /> <br />Dr. JamesW.
