Brown to be reappointed to a term ending March 1, 1995. <br /> <br />Haywood G. Stowe to be reappointed to a term ending March 1, <br />1995. <br /> <br />Samuel G. Walker, Jr. to be reappointed to a term ending March <br />1, 1995. <br /> <br /> Motion by Mr. Clemons, and seconded by Mr. King, to close <br />the nominations, and there being no further nominations, the <br />above were approved by unanimous vote. <br /> <br />94-90 Items Submitted by Council Members <br /> <br />LeAnn Nurse, EPA Representative, provided information on the <br />lead in Washington Park. <br /> <br />94-91 Receipt of Other Communications <br /> <br />There were no other communications. <br /> <br />94-92 Continued Non-Agenda Speakers <br /> <br />There were no other non-agenda speakers. <br /> <br /> Motion by Mr. Clemons, and seconded by Mr. King, to go into <br />Executive Session pursuant to provisions of Section 2.1-344 of <br />the Code of Virginia for the following: <br /> <br />(1) Consideration of a personnel matter involving the City <br />Manager's staff, as permitted under Subsection (A) (1); <br /> <br />The motion was adopted by unanimous vote. <br /> <br /> Motion by Mr. Epperson, and seconded by Mr. King pursuant <br />to Section 2.1-344.1 of the Code of Virginia certifying that to <br />the best of the Council member's knowledge during the <br />immediately preceding Executive Session of the City Council: <br /> <br /> (1) Only public business matters lawfully exempted from <br />open meeting requirements by the Virginia Freedom of Information <br />Act, and <br /> <br /> (2) Only such public business matters as were identified <br />in the motion by which the Executive Session was convened, were <br />heard, discussed or considered in the meeting by the City <br />Council. <br /> <br />The motion was adopted by unanimous vote. <br /> <br />On motion meetinG was adjourned at 9:00 p.m. <br /> <br />APPROVED- ~9~ <br /> Mayor <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
