315 March 8, 1994 The Planninq Council Cameron Pitts to be reappointed to a term one year effective February 25, 1994. South Hampton Roads Disability Services Board Charlotte Fletcher to be reappointed to a term of three years, effective January 1, 1994. Board of Electrical Examiners Lamar S. Brown to be reappointed to a term ending March 1, 1995. Haywood G. Stowe to be reappointed to a term ending March 1, 1995. Samuel G. Walker, Jr. to be reappointed to a term ending March 1, 1995. Motion by Mr. Clemons, and seconded by Mr. King, to close the nominations, and there being no further nominations, the above were approved by unanimous vote. 94-90 Items Submitted by Council Members LeAnn Nurse, EPA Representative, provided information on the lead in Washington Park. 94-91 Receipt of Other Communications There were no other communications. 94-92 Continued Non-Agenda Speakers There were no other non-agenda speakers. Motion by Mr. Clemons, and seconded by Mr. King, to go into Executive Session pursuant to provisions of Section 2.1-344 of the Code of Virginia for the following: (1) Consideration of a personnel matter involving the City Manager's staff, as permitted under Subsection (A) (1); The motion was adopted by unanimous vote. Motion by Mr. Epperson, and seconded by Mr. King pursuant to Section 2.1-344.1 of the Code of Virginia certifying that to the best of the Council member's knowledge during the immediately preceding Executive Session of the City Council: (1) Only public business matters lawfully exempted from open meeting requirements by the Virginia Freedom of Information Act, and (2) Only such public business matters as were identified in the motion by which the Executive Session was convened, were heard, discussed or considered in the meeting by the City Council.
