March 25, 2003 3. That the use permit is approved subject to the following conditions which shall be observed by the applicant and any successor in interest: (a) The site layout and landscaping shall be in accordance with Exhibit A. Modifications shall made with the approval of the Planning Director prior to obtaining building permits. (b) A 24-hour security lighting system for perimeter and interior of property shall to be developed, installed and maintained. (c) Fourteen (14) parking spaces shall be provided for customers and employees. The parking plan shall be developed in general accordance with Exhibit A, attached hereto and made a part hereof. The plan shall be modified to comply with Americans with Disabilities Act standards. Customers and employee parking spaces shall be clearly marked. (d) The hours of operation shall be limited to 8 A.M. to 9 P.M. Monday through Saturday. (e) A commercial re-inspection must be obtained prior to application for an occupancy permit. (f) The facility shall be developed and operated in accordance with all local, state and federal laws and requirements. (g) All taxes, in connection with the property and the proposed operation shall be paid when due. (h) The City may to inspect the facility to ensure that all use permit conditions are being met. (i) There shall be no storage of wrecked vehicles on site. No open storage of tires shall be permitted. 4. REVOCATION OF PERMIT: Violation of any of the above conditions may serve as grounds for revocation of the use permit by the City Council." Recommendation: · Adoption of an ordinance to appropriate $134,780 in the Grants Fund for the construction of a Fire Training Burn Building and Fire Protection Equipment. Purpose and Need: · The Virginia Department of Fire Programs has approved the Fiscal Year 2003 Fire Program Funds allocation of $134,780. · This allocation will be used for purchasing firefighting equipment in the amount of $34,780 and will assist in the improved training of firefighters by utilizing $100,000 toward the cost of construction of a Fire Training Burn Building.
