,329 April 12, 1994 At a Called Meeting of.the City Council on Tuesday, April 12, 1994, there were present: Mayor Gloria O. Webb, Clemons, John H. Epperson, Hawks, Cameron C. Pitts, V. Katz, City Attorney. Vice Mayor Lee E. King, Johnny M. Bernard D. Griffin, Sr., James C. Wayne Orton, City Manager, Stuart E. 94-112 - The following call for the meeting was read: "Please attend a Called Meeting of the City Council to be held in the City Council Chamber, 6th floor of City Hall, 801 Crawford Street, at 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 12, 1994, for the purpose of a Public Work Session. In addition, you may consider a motion to go into an Executive Session. By order of the Mayor." 94-114 - The following items were discussed in the Public Work Session: 1. RDF Plant Operations Motion by Mr. Epperson, and seconded by Mr. into Executive Session pursuant to provlsions of of the Code of Virginia for the following: Clemons, to go Section 2.1-344 (1) Consideration of appointments to Boards and Co~unissions by the City Council as permitted under Subsection (A) (1); (2) Discussion or consideration of the use, acquisition or disposition of publicly held real property in the downtown and central portions of the City, as permitted under Subsection (A) (3). The motion was adopted by unanimous vote. Motion of Mr. Epperson, and seconded by Mr. Clemons pursuant to Section 2.1-344.1 of the Code of Virginia certifying that to the best of the Council member's knowledge during the immediately preceding Executive Session of the City Council: (1) Only public business matters lawfully exempted from open meeting requirements by the Virginia Freedom of Information Act, and (2) Only such public business matters as were identified in the motion by which the Executive Session was convened, were heard, discussed or considered in the meeting by the City Council.
