As the Board of Police Oo~missioners have on two separate occasions' declined to endorse the petition of ~r. Cadmus, we recor~mend that the petition be not gr~nted. Mr. H~wks stated that the laying of the se~er pipe at co,er of Sou~ ~nd Middle streets had cost more than the ~o~t reeo~ended for it by $13.32; ~nd he move~ t~t the reco~ended appropri- ation of $145 be increased by $13.32.
