February 9, 1909. The 0ommittee further recommends for your adoption the following other matters referred by the Common 0ouncil January 12th and adopted by the Board of Aldermen January 20th: An appropriation of $21,750, less a special discount of t½ per cent from each payment, for pur- chase of a Decarie Incinerator for removal of City Garbage. A proposition of N. S. Huybert to continue his contract for one ~ear from ~ay l, 1909. for re- moval of garbage under the sonditions prescribed by the two branches of 0curtail December 8th and (Signed) Jno. A petition of Irving Bros. to have paved the sidewalk on south side of Londe~strett, between Din- widdie and ~ashington. It is reeommended that an appropriatdon of $550 be made for omrbing and guttering the south ef t~ndon street, between Dinwi~die and ~ashington, and for paving ~he sidewalk for 180 feet ~of side same. Advism~i~ity ~f improving ~he sidewalk on west si&e ~cf Che~tnut street, b~ween Ann & Emmett. Progress-as to same. A petition of Phillips & Mahoney to build on their marsh property between Court and C~awford sts.~ and Nythe street and the S. A. L.
