<br />The City Attorney b'eing present and having Seen asked whether th'e
<br />pay jury fees in civil cases-replied that the City is so
<br />pended, and a Jur~ bill for $81.50 held up in the Oommon
<br />ion thereon of the O~ty Attorney, was allowed.

<br /> By common consent Mr. Jno. Howard Hall moved that an appropriation of $20 be made for publish-
<br />ing the ~annexation ordinance" and order of the 0curt connected with same. The motion was adopted.
<br />
<br /> It was agreed that' the Joint Ferry ~ommlttee and other members of the Council should meet at
<br />
<br />the ~ortsmo~th ferry house P~rch 31st, at 11-30 P.
<br />
<br />tiring lessees.

<br /> Thereupon, the following matters adopted in joint session of this date were concurred in:

<br /> To accept a bid of Fergus Reid and others to lease the Nor-folk 0ounty Ferries for.10 years
<br />$135,200 per year, from 'April l, 1909.
<br />
<br /> To appoint a special committee cons/sting of Messrs. Watts, Hutchins, Br_nson~ and Hanvy from
<br />the 0ommon Oouncil, and Montague, B~rlow and Hilliams from the Board of Aldermen, to consider and
<br />report concerning officers for the "annexed territory.~
<br />
<br /> To allow a jury bill of $81.50, held up in the Oommon Council Febrnary~th.
<br />
<br /> To appropriate $20 for publishing the "annexation ordinance~ and order of the ~ourt in connec-
<br />tion with the s~meo
<br />
<br />And by the following vote. the vote being the same for each proposition:
