<br />the Board of Supervisors of said Norfolk County, have demised and leased,
<br />and lease, unto the said E. E. Jordan, subject to all and every of the
<br />set forth, the following property, to 'wit:
<br /> The property.owned Jointly by the City of Fortsmouth and Norfolk
<br />
<br /> and do hereby demise and
<br />terms and ~onditions above
<br />
<br />0ounty, known as The Norfolk
<br />
<br />County Ferries, together with all the steamers, boats, their apparel and appurtenances, and the
<br />wharves, docks, landings, buildings and all other property no~o~ed by the said Oity and 0ounty,
<br />and now used or subject to be used for the uses an& purposes of the said Ferries.
<br /> TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same unto him, the said E. El Jordan. from the first day of April,
<br />A. D. Nineteen hundred and nine, for and during the full term of ten years next ensuing and fully
<br />to be completed~ and ended, yielding and paying therefor yearly the sum of One Hundred and Thdrty-
<br />five Thousand Two Huadred Dollars ($135,2G0,00), good and lawful money of the United States, paya-
<br />ble in monthly installments of ~leven Thousand TWo Hundred and Sixty-six Dollars and Sixty-six and
<br />Two-third Oents ($11,266.66 2/3~, at the end of each and every monthduring the continuance of said
<br />lease, the same to be paid by the said E, E. Jordan, one-half thereof to the Treasurer of ~orfolk
<br />Oounty, and the other half thereof to the Treasurer of the 0ity of ~ortsmouth.
<br /> ~nd the ~aid E. E. ~ordan for himself, his heirs, executors, administrators and assigns, do
<br /> hereby covenant to and with the said 0ity of ~ortsmouth ~nd Borfolk Oounty, that he shall and wdll
<br /> pay the sai~ yearly rental of One Hundred and Thirty~five Thousand Two Hundre~ Dollars ~135,200,00~
<br /> in ~he m~nner hereinbefore limited and ,appoint~ed; and he, the s~i& H, E. Jordan, for himself, his
<br /> heirs, executors, administrators and assigns does hereby further covenant that he, and each of them.
<br /> shall and will on his part faithfully observe, keep and perform all and every of the provisions,
<br /> agreements, terms and,conditions agree~ upon and determined by said council and Board of Supervisors
<br /> and herein above set forth, on their part to be observed, kept and performed; and the said 0ity of
<br /> Fortsmouth and Norfolk County do, on their part, covenant that they will faithfully observe, keep
<br />
<br />and perform all and every of the provisions, agreements,
<br />on their part to be observed, kept and performed.
