<br /> and January 1, 1~11.

<br /> 0n motions, the City Attorney was instructed to apply for an order cf court to authorize the
<br />sale of the 01d house on Third street, and the bills of the Water Companies were referred to the
<br />~oint ~ater ~ommittee.

<br /> The Mayor returned also his approval ef the following resolutions and ordinances adopted by the
<br />two branches of Council December 20, 1910, and ;anuary 10-11-17, 1911:

<br /> The Mayor's message for 1912 was presented and was referred to the Joint Finance Committee4
<br />whz~e the several recommendations made therein, viz: To set aside one-half of the Ferry receipts to

<br /> _~.e Treasurer asked for ~uthority to renew notes in the several City banks and ~the request was
<br />referred to the Joint Finance Committee; amount of notes requested for rene~m~l~ $89,000.00.
<br />
<br /> In accordance with the instructions therefor the City Engineer reported that he ~d verified
<br />the number of miles of the several rmilroads in the City proper ~nd in the Sixth and Seventh Wards,
<br />assessed by the State Corporation Commission~ and found the said assessment to be correct.

<br />A report from the Sixth Ward Local Board stated that said Ward had examined the application of
