Hutchins, <br /> Chairman <br /> <br /> The report havin~ been read, ~r, Brineon stated that~ althoogh the Public Property Committee <br />had been authorized to fit up rooms on the north side of the City Hall for use of the luditor and <br />City Engineer, yet, if the wall of the Eirn Building, about to be erected, came as close to the <br />City Hall as said it would be~ the rooms of said officers would be too dark for use by them; and <br />he moved that the Public Property Committee be instructed to rent rooms for these officers ~lsewhere. <br /> ~r, Brooks remarked that the Beard of Water Commissioners had said that the Auditor could have <br />~he use of the room they were occupying. <br /> ~r. Hall thought too much latitude would be allowed the Public Property Committee on the motion <br />of ~r~ Brinson~ and he moved to a~end the same by authorizing the Co~ittee to obtain a suitable <br />room for the City Engineer at a cost not in excess of ~150 a year.
