Ju~y ii, 1911. To reconsider the par~lng of Effin~n~m street. After further ez~mination of this matter, the Committee has concluded to abandon the idea of parking on Effingham street, and to pave the entire width-~of Effingham fOrth~ two Blocks south of High; and for the three blocks north ~f High, to pave 20 feet of it on each side from the gutter, and to lay a 20 foot hard surface in the center between these two 20 foot paved surfaces. It is hoped that this change in paving as regards Effingham street will meet with the provai of thb-'Co~cil. To pave Effin~n~m street its entire width, between Queen and County. Our answer to this pro~ssition is considered above. To ta~e up with the S, A, L. Railway Company the establishment of an uptow~ re~emvmng and deliv- ery station at some other point t~n on High street. Progress, To use the top dirt to be t~en off of Glasgow street for filling on Wilson Avenue.
