<br /> At a Regular Meeting of.the City Council held on Tuesday,
<br />June 28, 1994, there were present:
<br />
<br /> Mayor Gloria O. Webb, Vice Mayor Lee E. King, Johnny M.
<br />Clemons, John H. Epperson, Bernard D. Griffin, Sr., J~unes C.
<br />Hawks, Cameron C. Pitts, V. Wayne Orton, City Manager, Stuart
<br />E. Katz, City Attorney.
<br />
<br /> Vice Mayor Lee E. King, opened the meeting with prayer
<br />which was followed by the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.
<br />
<br /> Mayor Webb called the meeting to order and welcomed all in
<br />attendance.
<br />
<br /> Motion of Mr. King, and seconded by Mr. Pitts, the minutes
<br />of a called meeting on June 13, 1994; a Regular Meeting on June
<br />13, 1994; a Called Meeting on June 14, 1994; and a Regular
<br />Meeting on June 14, 1994, be approved, and was adopted by
<br />unanimous vote.

<br />94-231 - Presentation to the Honorable Lee E. King, Vice Mayor,
<br />and ~he Honorable John H. Epperson, Councilman, for faithful
<br />City Council service.
<br />
<br />94-232 - Proclamation presented to LaTasha Colander for
<br />"LaTasha Colander Day".
<br />
<br />94-233 Proclamation presented to Majorie Crump, President and
<br />George Crump, Chairman of the Board/CEO, WCMS Radio for "WCMS
<br />Top Country Day".
<br />
<br />94-234 - Proclamation presented to Venus Tomaneng and Dick
<br />Dabu, Council of United Filipino Organizations of Tidewater,
<br />Inc., for "Philippine Week".
<br />
<br />94-235 - Presentation of special pins to newly appointed Boards
<br />and Commissions members.
<br />
<br />94-236 - Non-Agenda Speakers
<br />
<br />1. Angela Schleeper, 219 Mohican Drive, spoke on the Ebony
<br />Showcase and the noise ordinance.

<br />94-197 - Rezoning and use permit applications:

<br />(b) Motion by Mr. Clemons, and seconded by Mr. Griffin, to
<br />adopt the following ordinance, and was adopted by the following
<br />vote:
<br />
<br /> "ZONING AMENDMENT ORDINANCE Z-94-4".
<br />
<br />Ayes: Clemons, Epperson, Griffin, Hawks, King, Pitts, Webb
<br />Nays: None
<br />
<br />(c) Motion by Mr. Clemons, and seconded by Mr. King, to adopt
<br />the following ordinance, and was adopted by the following vote:
